Rosemary Loar, who was born in New York City and raised in Iselin, went to the University of Oregon to study social work. After two years, she gravitated toward music and theatre and relocated to New York City to study opera and theatre. "College is where I got really into jazz," she said. As a Broadway singer, Loar has spent long periods of time in other cities around the country. Loar performed in "Cats" on the road and spent a year and a half away from home. "I actually flew home to get married and then in two days, I was back on the road," she said. We found out about here at http://www.southbergenite.com/NC/0/2785.html.
