Jahna began her musical journey as a soulful expression of the emotions flowing through her mind; thus was birthed her first solo CD, In The Balance.  Ever reaching for a more seem-less blend of New World musical vibes and established classical Old World compositions, Jahna’s sparkling voice comfortably bridges both realms of this new musical groove.

 

Recently, Jahna performed this exciting aural blend for the c3/GATE 'Immerse the Future' event at the LA Center Studios Screening Room; attended by leaders in the transformational/conscious movement: Reverend Michael Beckwith, John Raatz of GATE, and Jerome Glenn of the UN Millennium Project.  In addition, Jahna’s creative exploration was rewarded when In The Balance charted No. 2 single in Southern Japan, while the entire CD charted No. 4. The single, ‘Flower Duet’ from In The Balance has been featured on Showtime’s highest rated drama series, ‘The L Word’ and charted No. 1 on iTunes as the top download from ‘The L Word: The Third Season Soundtrack’.  She’s sung in many artistic projects such as the ‘2009 Vital Voices Kennedy Center Awards Ceremony’; the film ‘Mythic Journeys’ with Tim Curry; ‘Y Yoga Movie’;  ‘Journey of Seven Bowls’ CD series;  ‘FRESH’ with DivAria, and many other independent productions.  Jahna co-wrote ‘Enlighten-Up’, featured song in ‘Enlighten-Up’; winner of Best Narrative from The Elevate Music and Film Festival.  Most recently, Jahna's lilting vocals opened the internationally downloaded video, ‘Legend of Zelda Movie Trailer’. The video, viewed by over 2.5 million viewers in its first 24 hours, was ranked as the #3 Digg story in the world!
